Movilla is the finest big fish rainbow trout water in Ireland. Keith Duncan manages the fishery to a high standard.
Movilla's 6 acre lake offers truly outstanding fly fishing for big top quality rainbow trout. We cater for all abilities and beginners are most welcome. However, experienced anglers will find our Titan rainbows a real challenge.
Movilla has a bait fishing pond for children U16. All natural baits are allowed such as, bread, worms, maggots, sweetcorn etc... All fish caught from bait pond must be killed, there are no exceptions.
We hire out fly rods, bait rods and nets. We have a small selection of essential tackle and flies for sale. We sell soft drinks, tea, coffee, confectionery and crisps.
Movilla has a large gravel carpark that and has excellent toilet facilities.
Both fly lake and bait pond are well maintained and there are 40 wooden bench seats around the fishery. With over 1,000m of bank space, the fishery is never overcrowded.
